In couples therapy, the three of us meet in my practice. Having a neutral person to facilitate the conversation, provide helpful feedback, and offer insights often creates new opportunities for communication—more structured, respectful, and calm.
In this context, "listening" and "being heard" become much more likely. You can express your needs and perspectives, and together, we can develop new strategies to help you create a more fulfilling relationship.
Whether one session proves sufficient or a longer process is needed will only become clear after the first meeting. We will decide together when and how often to meet. Couples therapy sessions are often held every four to six weeks.
